A common error is to fit Type 75 needle when it should be a type 44 etc
The Shure M44c was used very succesfully by Ami, Rock Ola and Wurlitzer in a variety of models and when the cartridge was avaialble it was the pick up of choice to replace the older magnetic pick ups that had been fitted originally. Sadly the cartridges are no longer available but the needles are.

The late models G, and also the models H, used the same cartridge, but with a groove the full length of the body of the pick-up, see fig 2
This needle requires a holder but the holder is not available, re-use the one that you have.
The models I and J together with earlier K used to have a small cartridge with a metal cover at the front ONLY, see fig 3
This cartridge has two connections and on it’s base is written "VR II". The needle is only available without the holder.
