Since 1972

Established in 1972 by Geoff Young, The Jukeboxman has grown from a small specialist workshop in Lincoln (UK) into one of the UK’s last remaining sources of genuine expertise in classic, pre-digital jukeboxes.

With more than fifty years in the trade, Geoff’s experience is the result of a lifetime dedicated to these remarkable machines—a testament to his unwavering commitment, deep technical knowledge, and enduring passion for keeping vintage jukeboxes performing at their best.

In the early days, The Jukeboxman became well known for supplying parts and restoring jukeboxes to a high standard. Geoff developed a particular specialism and talent for reviving valve amplifiers, achieving the authentic vintage sound of the early Jukeboxes that collectors value.

In the 1990s and early 2000s, his paper catalogue—and later 'Jukebox News'—were essential reading before the internet era, offering guidance, parts information, and a connection to the wider jukebox community.

With the arrival of the web, Geoff launched an online presence in 1997, creating one of the earliest dedicated resources for jukebox owners and restorers.

The Early Days

Modern Times

These days, Geoff concentrates primarily on repairs, maintenance, and service visits for discerning clients throughout the UK. He continues to work (now semi-retired) on classic machines, mainly at his workshop in Lincoln, accompanied by his wife Val.

With decades of hands-on experience and an in-depth understanding rarely found today, The Jukeboxman continues to work with owners who value authenticity, craftsmanship, and attention to detail.
